Tuesday 4th March 2008.
I contacted National polytunnels yesterday morning at 9.00am, I gave them details of the damage and asked for a quote to replace the damaged roof sheet. I obviously said that it was urgent and could they come back with a quote asap!
Today I had a phone call from Gary their sales man who said he would do a quote for me today, I asked if he could phone back with the quote figures and send on later the paperwork quote, he said no problem. It can't be too hard to work out the price of a piece of polythene and the cost for labour for 4 guys to fit it?
I've heard nothing yet, but have my fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Here is a photo of how things looked today, nice blue sky!

I've turned the heating off on the concrete pond that Stuart and I emptied yesterday. In the next few days I shall start moving the larger koi around. The Open Weekend is approaching fast, as I move koi which will be for sale, I'll take photos and price them. Soon I'll be able to start building the koi for sale pages.
I've an announcement to make in a couple of days, I can't say too much at the moment, but it has to do with a visitor I had today!
I spent the late afternoon working my way down the ramps of a couple of mud ponds with the rotovator, the sun is slowly starting to have an effect on the clay, perhaps helped by the extra ventilation through the roof!
