The wind had dropped a little this morning after another rough night. More damage to the same places, plus a little on another tunnel, this was down on the pleated area as I have mentioned in an earlier blog. So first off I made another window frame and fitted it where the damage was. This is an easy fix and will extend the life of the roof sheet for a year or two.
Then after stopping for a break, I went outside to access the transport tank in the stream situation. I thought it must be a job for one of the 'boys toys', so I fired up the digger! Once in position, I lowered the bucket so I could kneel in it and attach some straps.
Although our local forecast says the storm winds will return tomorrow, it seemed they started a little early as this afternoon was near as bad as yesterday.
When is it going to improve?
