Today I went through the second pond of nisai koi. Another long day, but I think most days will be the same right through until the end of the open weekend.
Not much to say other than show you a few photos of some I have held back.
In a day or so the koi for sale pages will start to be built up, so make sure you check that section frequently over the coming two weeks.
This kohaku from my Matsue line was kept back as a possible parent male.
I was sure it was male last autumn, but I'm not so sure now.
The pectoral fines look male, but other indications say female?
Good size for it's age, huge if it's a male!
