Saturday 8th March 2008.
Yesterday and today in between other jobs, I have been making a start on the windows. Unless I can get Nick the chippy in (that's a real discredit to his skills) it will be a slowly slowly job on my own. I'd like a window both ends of each tunnel, but for now I'll be going for every other tunnel.
On the front side (windy side) of the tunnels, the windows will be high level, this will take the stress off the weak area of the polythene. On the backside (the walkway) the windows will be at eye level.
Here are a few photos of the construction and fitting.

You can see above, I was unable to finish off refitting the polythene as the wind was too strong, this will have to wait until the weather improves.
And now from the walkway side.

I cannot clad the windows yet as I have no polythene, that will have to wait until they come to fit the new roof.
I've put some bubble-wrap on this one for now.
