Monday 3rd March 2008.
Today Stuart T had a day off, so came to the farm to give me a hand. I am short of concrete pond space so I made the decision to go through the pond containing the shusui, sorigoi, along with a few shiro utsuri, showa and chagoi. After 6 or more attempts with the seine net we finally caught them all and they were each checked out for their various attributes. Most of the shiro utsuri were moved onto another pond with growing koi, as these are nice quality. From the shusui and sorigoi, a selected few were placed into the same pond as the shiros, the others were placed into a pond which contains a portion of the sales koi for the April Open Weekend.
The now emptied concrete pond gives me room to bring in some more of the larger koi still in the mud ponds.
I have been playing around with video clips again, this time we have Yamabuki Ogon.
There are two options, first is to click on the link the same as yesterday, the other is the attached You Tube option. You Tube is quicker, but lower quality. Please tell me which you prefer?
