Today was uneventful, we carried on collecting koi for the current order after the daily chores had been carried out.
And then the 'Inspector' turned up!
Stuart T is a regular visitor to the farm, I think it's because of his aspirations of one day owning the farm when I am long gone!!
Anyway, Tom and I were working hard counting koi for the impending order and Stuart was lounging around, while standing in an unauthorized area!
After a while he looked up and said, "I think you have a problem", looking in the direction of one of the Nexus filters.
It was overflowing, with Kaldnes media spilling in every direction. I rushed over and pulled the air feed pipe off to limit the damage and quickly shut off the pump valve to stop any media from being drawn into the pump.
And then I noticed.........................
.........................for some reason, the pump was not working! I then looked to the other end of the pond and noticed the Eazy Pod was also not working!
As can be expected from the local constabulary, loitering is par for the course, he had leaned on the two waterproof rocker switches and turned everything off!!!!
Tom and I spent a while retrieving K1 from every orifice of a Nexus, while Stuart looked on unconcerned!
