In around 2 months I have to make my final pick and decide which tosai will be grown through the summer in the mud ponds. As I said a few days ago, I shall be using 3 mud ponds for growing on this season, each containing 50 koi, I have to make my final pick late March early April.
So today we have been moving koi around. Two ponds were netted, one showa and the other kohaku. I had to make the decision which will be sold and which will be held until the final selection at a later date.
He are a few which will be for sale at the April Open Weekend.
These amount to around 20% of the Tosai Showa which will be on sale.
