Here is a photo of the 5,000, they rush to greet you every time you go near the pond!
Today we reduced the numbers in the Shusui/ Ochiba/sorigoi/chagoi pond. These two spawning were carried out in August which is very late in the season and they were harvested at only 1"/25mm. I only kept a few from each (500ish) and were too small to pick any qualities, so we just saved some of the bigger ones.
They are now around 4"/10cm, chances of finding any real quality from just 500 is fairly remote, lets just see what comes from them.
