Today in the tunnels was the warmest day so far this year, I slowly shed layers of clothing and ended up with my tee shirt off, thinking I'm not used to this! Roll on the warm weather.
I serviced the pumps in the plant room this morning and left the filters until the afternoon. Although I screen the new raw water for particles, it's surprising how the impellors slowly block up and become inefficient.
For some reason it took forever to re-prime the pumps, very annoying!
Now I have an empty concrete pond, I shall have to start thinking about catching up the mud pond of larger koi.
