Return to blog calendar

This morning the guys turned up to strip the remnants of the polythene from the roofs of the two tunnels. Then they replaced the 'hot spot' tape which stops the heat transfer from the steel frame to the polythene. Unfortunately the wind was too strong for them to put the new roof sheets on, but they said they will be back this week as soon as the wind drops enough. They are confident they can get them covered by the weekend, but it really does need near zero wind.

Cassie and I went through another pond of Tosai today. They were shiro utsuri from Omosako blood and showa from Momotaro blood. The koi I selected for selling this weekend are of a new level of quality. I have so many really good shiro utsuri that I can offer real gems for sale at realistic prices.

Unfortunately I ran out of time and would have liked to have taken pictures of at least another 50 which will be for sale, but it had got dark and I needed to get home and start putting them on the for sale pages.

This evening I shall put up another 4 pages, so check the For Sale Pages for new additions later.

Here are 4 shiro utsuri which I shall be keeping for a while longer, but I have put many of equivalent quality for sale.

As usual these pictures do the koi no justice.
